Сентябрьский отчет Минтруда США о безработице не выйдет в пятницу

Министерство труда США объявило в четверг, что не будет публиковать сентябрьский отчет о безработице, запланированный на 4 октября, в связи с приостановкой деятельности федеральных ведомств страны.

"В связи с прекращением финансирования отчет о ситуации на рынке труда за сентябрь, подготовленный Бюро трудовой статистики министерства труда, не будет опубликован, как планировалось, 4 октября 2013 года. Возможная дата публикации этого отчета не определена", — говорится в сообщении, опубликованном на сайте ведомства.

Данные о безработице являются ключевыми для принятия Федеральной резервной системой (ФРС) решения о том, стоит ли начинать постепенное сокращение объемов количественного стимулирования.

Помимо данных о безработице Минтруда отслеживает данные о потребительских ценах и ценах производителей.

Ведомство сообщило, что не будет заниматься ни сбором статданных, ни выпуском соответствующих отчетов, а также не намерено отвечать на официальные запросы. Сайт Минтруда начнет обновляться после возобновления работы ведомства.

Министерство торговли США не публикует запланированные статданные с начала этой недели. Так, в понедельник не вышли данные об объеме расходов на строительство в стране, в четверг — данные о заказах промпредприятий США.

Первые переговоры президента США Барака Обамы и лидеров Конгресса, прошедшие в среду, были безрезультатными. Спикер нижней палаты Конгресса республиканец Джон Бейнер заявил о недостаточном прогрессе на пути преодоления бюджетного кризиса, и сроки возобновления финансирования федерального правительства страны остаются неясными.

Законодателям необходимо согласовать вопрос о повышении потолка госдолга до 17 октября, чтобы избежать дефолта США по долговым обязательствам.
